    Name of your website?

    Try a New Perspective

    Your name?

    JoAnne Ceccarelli-egan LCSW CH.t

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Farmington

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Site includes a self help CD for sale and monthly free self help tips created by a licensed clinical social worker, who has been practicing 25 years. Topics cover specific ways to embrace life more fully and decrease anxiety and stress. Specific strategies such as empathic awareness, affirmation and increasing one's intuition have already been discussed.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to be able to share my knowledge with has many people as possible in an expensive and convenient way

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

    January 2008

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is the name of my practice plus it is what I am trying to encourage people to do: Try an New way of looking at life!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It is very professional. I have been in clinical practice for 25 years. Therefore the advice that I offer is clinically sound and very helpful. My motives are pure.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To sell as many CD's as I can. To help as many people as possible.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It doesn't. I break even in terms of my expenses. In terms of the amount of time that I spend, I could make much more money seeing clients in a therapy session. This is pure ministry and passion.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would figure out how to optimize my site so I would be the first entry when people googled my content.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, I actually have a few people in the wings that help me with this.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

    None

What has been your biggest challenge?

To get my site higher up on the search engine.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Increasing my address base and linking to reputable sites that feed back to my site.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is much more time consuming (and addicting) than I imagined.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

    3 months. Indefinitely.

Replace this with a question of your own

How do I generate more search engine hits and get more exposure to sell my CD?

You have done a great job with this site. How much time do you spend?

    What is your website address?
