Please give us a short summary of your website?
Marriage counseling based on The Bible not psychology. We are an alternative to psychology and believe that The Word of God is sufficient in all matters of the heart to help and to heal and restore broken relationships and break addictions.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I am a certified Biblical counselor and am tired of dealing with people who have been seeing psychoanalists for years with little to no progress. I offer a real alternative that is not a long and drawn out. I seek to get the counselee from point A to B in the quickest time relying on God to make the changes.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first website and I launched it about 6 months ago
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Set-Free family Counseling is based on The Bible and i have seen so many literally set free from the bondage od sin and addictions and living a life of freedom.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I offer a complete alternative to psychology using only God's Word as the final authority on all matters. I do not introduce any man made thinking or philosophies.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To see many lives set free and restored relationships through the power of God and for His glory.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I pour my time into peoples lives to see restored lives, marriages and families.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would like to be able to offer my services on a full time basis.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. I have a helper who can assist with the growing needs.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None. God has supplied all of my needs so far.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Completing my diploma course in December 2006 while still working full time.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth so far.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I am not totally sure of all the ways to promote it to reach the most number of people
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I launched it about 6 months ago and plan to keep it up indefinately.
Why would people seek Biblical counseling?
I believe that God's Word is applicable today and has the power to change hearts so that people can live victorious lives away from conflict in their homes and be free from addictions.

Hello,My name is Janet I am openly admitting that I am in a very toxic relationship, and I really don't know how to get out of it entirley. I have been with my child's father for about 6 years, At one point he has actually left me for 3yrs to work for his father in Winnipeg, and the same time met and had relationshins with a girl and broke up with me. He eventually came back and we decieded that their was eneough love to go at the relationship again only find out he was still communicating and talking with the other girl right under my nose. Any way I overlooked that sitiuation. And decieded that I wanted this relationship to work becaused I love him so much and most importantly for the sake of my daughter. See I come from a broken home and I always told myself I would not let my child have to go through the things that I had to go through in result of my parents not being there. Anyway did I mention our current living situation, I live with him my daughter, his mother, two sisters, and his grandmother. They are great with our daughter, but when it comes to me I know that they despise me but only put up with me because of my daughter being the only grandchild. NOw my issues are that my baby's father is really a good guy but: the way he treats me he often yells at me belittles me, even at times is abusive to me mentally and pysically, He often tells me that I am setting him up for failure, I have never done nothing for him, he somtimes implies that I am a terrible mother to our daughter, he often stays out late everyday somtimes coming back the very next day from his friends house, He tototally disrespects me, often calls me names, loud enough for my daughter his family to see and hear. I hav eoften prayed to god to guidance support and to help take me out of this situation to N/a. I am so hurt that I love this person so much and given him a beautiful child only to relaize that this person does not love me. Another issues is that his mother is not working so all of the burden bills mortagae payments is all on him. And he often thinking of ways to improve life for himself and his family he does have alot of ambition, But of latley I find that he puts everyting above my daughter and me. He once told me that he has no time for family and that he is doing him regardless of anything. If I don't like I should leave. This man has told me this past WEdnesday that he loved me and now today I am a failure and the cause of everything that has gone wrong for him. I just don't understand how could one person love someone so much only to have her boyfriend despise her for wanting to spend time and be about family. I am at the point where I just don't know what to do I have lost all my friends because of this relationship, I often choose to work longer hours just to avoid going home having his family laugh critize me, sneer at me, and at the same time I have to cope with all these things and try to be a good mother. Also I wanted to mention that we had bought a new car together, he makes more money then me I am currently handling the payments and insurance while he drives the car going god knows where day in day out. One final note I hav eoften heard the saying God will lead you to a storm and lead you out for a reason,when will God lead me and my daughter out of this one.. PLease help me
