    Do We Reflect Our Parents?

    08/29/10 06:41

I think it simply shows that our parents are the most influential people in our lives. Whether we like it or not, they are still our parents. We can't say, there's nothing we can do about it. Of course that's wrong! There are so many things we can do about it. If we see that our parents are like this, unconsciously we follow it. But in that case, if you see that something is wrong with their habits or attitudes and you acknowledge it, try to tell them in a nice way and also correct it within yourself. Learn from it. That's the least that we can do. Afterall, they are still our parents and no matter what, blood is thicker than water.

Do you have multiple personalitites ?

    08/19/10 07:34
This could be a frightening disorder to have, unless of course you don't remember what you have done, and therefore cannot be frightened by it ! I have read about multiple personalities, but I don't think I have ever met someone with multiple personalities. Most people are adaptive, with the ability to perform more than one role. Women are adept at this, taking on the role of mother, wife and business person, with ease. A certain amount of stress, but on the whole, multi-tasking for women is easy. Where does multi-tasking or playing different roles cross the line to multiple personality disorder ?

    Isolating One's Self

    08/12/10 12:17
Psychologist theorized that isolating one's self is a type of defense mechanism from having distractions from the environment. Solitude is one of right terms to describe this, a time so one may do things as he wishes without the disturbance of any kind. Physical seclusion are good to remove distractions so they could concentrate on things easier like when reflecting, meditating, etc.

Having any medical condition (psychological or even physical) is quite difficult enough and even if one in a family has it, it will also have an impact to rest of the family members.

Like when a member of the family has bi-polar disorder. All of the family members must pull themselves together and be sensitive enough about the condition of one.
