12 Steps in goal setting. Information, tips and techniques to stay motivated along the road of achieving your goals. If you know where you are, it is easier to stay motivated. Each step has his challenges. If you look at them, which steps do you naturally and which ones did you never knew about or do you skip?
You always convert the intangible into the tangible, your inner world into the outer world. And the way you feel about what you receive and what is acquired to do, determines how you experience it and determines your motivation.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I saw always two kinds of subjects discussed about the way to accomplish what you want: on the one hand goal setting and on the other hand the law of attraction. In other words you achieve what you want by planning and working or you receive what you desire as a gift from the universe. Finally I found the connection and a website is a great way to share this information.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
A Dutch site to promote my local coach practice.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The best combination of the theme of my site and words that are less competitive on the Internet.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
It is step by step ordered, makes the goal setting process visible and shows how each step is connected with the other steps.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goal is to make a living from it. To have several streams of income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I don't know yet. My site is only a few month old (march 2008).
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I don't know yet.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing
What has been your biggest challenge?
To get enough traffic.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Submitting to Directories and two traffic generating sites.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
The going is slower than I expected.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My first page launched 5 month ago (October 2007). i will persist until it works the way I want it.
Do you like to work on your site?
Yes I enjoy it to work on my site, see opportunities to do it better, write content, see the big picture and to see my sit grow.
