Communicating is power

Communication could be either an act of expressing your thoughts and feelings or the act of disclosing information. Its immense power to influence people, to change situations, bridge gaps and build relationships has been proven throughout our history and probably even in our own lives.

It takes on several forms and verbal communication is just one of them. Oftentimes, it is those that are communicated non-verbally that carry a stronger message, hence the saying "actions speak louder than words."

Doing Things We Can Do Now

There are times that we feel confused and we could not decide of the right thing for our life. we have plenty of dream jobs simply because we don't find satisfaction to where we are at present. I was really enlightened with the words of wisdom given by the late Steve Jobs. He said that life is too short to bother living a life dictated by dogma. It simply shows that we must make right decisions now because time is gold and we should make use of what we have and don't wait for tomorrow what we can do now.

Spiritual atmospthere

Create a spiritual atmosphere in order to reach a new level of experience. Was it Maslow who spoke of "Self actualization"? Once all your basic needs are met, you have yourself to look at in the mirror of your soul. Yes, you must create a calm and clean house, the plants are essential, but we must go beyond. Don´t forget the art. A few paintings to your taste, decoration saved from your travels. A Chinese vase on the table. And, of course, the pastel colors on your wall, all contribute. The arabs have a theory about sound as an atmosphere-builder. The trickle of a little table-top cascade is magic. Cheers!

The Feeling of Having a Broken Family

As what most people define the word family, it is the basic unit of society. And yes, a lot of countries value the importance of a complete family. It is really pitiful to see that broken families is increasing in the society today. And the most affected members are the children. This brings frustration on their part because they never thought to be in that kind of situation. But life must go on. Take courage to move on and look at the brighter side of life. For the rest, be grateful for having a complete family.
